She had spoken thus during an interview with a weekend newspaper. She has added that she and her husband were not planning to have children anytime soon as her husband says that he is unable to take care of more babies in addition to Nehara herself!
Making her debut through advertisements on Lanka Bell and Dialog, Nehara Peiris is popular for her performances on teledramas such as ‘Ruwan Maliga’, ‘Muthu Kirilli’ and ‘Amanda’.
She also displayed her dancing skills in ‘Sirasa Dancing Stars’.
Nehara’s fame had risen after presenting programs ‘Saagare Se Aadare’ aired on Sri Fm and ‘Magic Box’ telecast on Sirasa and ‘Tea Party’ telecast on ‘Derana TV’.
Meanwhile, ‘Sri Lanka Mirror’ learns that Nehara is to make her debut on the silver screen as well, through Roy de Silva’s ‘It’s a matter of Love’.
Nehara married her sweetheart Nirmal, after a 3 ½ year relationship.
