The two lead roles in ‘Kusa Pabawathi’ film directed by Professor Sunil Ariyaratne, has been allotted to Jackson Anthony and Pooja Umashankar, reports say.

Jackson Anthony is to play the role of ‘Kusa’, who is to woo the fair ‘Pabawathi’ played by Pooja Umashankar, reports add.

Both the lead actor and actress have charged a fee of Rs. 1.5 million for performing in the film.

‘Kusa Pabawathi’ is also the final film script written by the late Dr. Tissa Abeysekera
